Japandroids at Sasquatch!

It's been one week since I wrapped up shooting the Sasquatch! Music Festival for the Seattle Weekly and I think I've finally recovered. Being able to photograph several of my favorite bands at the Gorge was a dream come true and worth the long days, lack of sleep, shenanigans in the media room, and hikes to the camp ground. (At least I had bacon, coffee, whiskey, and friends waiting for me back there.)

One of my favorite sets of the four day festival hands down was JAPANDROIDS - how I've let this band slip past me for so long is beyond me. Not only was Brian and David's energy contagious and super fun to photograph, they simply put on a rad show. I had to share an extended post of their set - one photo wasn't enough. Hopefully it won't be too long before they return to the pacific northwest - I'm not making the mistake of missing these guys again.

Check out more from my coverage of Sasquatch over at Seattle Weekly's "Scenes from Sasquatch!" gallery. My final band count was 52 bands in 4 days - more selected sets and links to reviews will be coming in the semi-near future.
