Father John Misty at Neumos

Father John Misty enchanted last night at Neumos, and I had the joy of helping cover the show for SSG Music. Hip rolls, sass and word playing lyrics to boot. If you haven't heard J. Tillman's latest project, which just released the album "Fear Fun" on Subpop, get on it. Check out the full review of the show Father John Misty show Lindsey Bluher posted for SGG Music here.

And, because how can you *not* love it, this last frame is of the awesome Har Mar Superstar and one of his signature moves.

Delta Spirit at Neumos

My affinity for live music is starting to mix with my photography and I couldn't be more thrilled! Recently I've started working with Lindsey Bluher, a Seattle Music Correspondent for Culture Mob. Not only am I getting to do what I love (photography), I'm also taking in more great music and live shows. Can we say dream connection? Look for more as I continue to hit the scene with this lady.

I'll leave the words to Lindsey, which you can read her review here.

In a band and would like to add some live photos to your repertoire? Email me at hello@amberzbitnoff.com and let's boogie.

Pretty Broken Things: Live

Pretty Broken Things played at the Columbia City Theater in Seattle last week, and I was more than eager to see them again! Between the vocal power and vulnerable lyrics, their music just tugs at my heart in all the right ways. Pretty Broken Things current lineup consists of Katie Costello, Grace Yoo, Ashlea Tegman, Shay Carlucci, and Jamison Dewlen. You can read a full review of their show on culturemob.com here. ALso, check out my previous blog of them recording in the studio this past July.

The last two frames are of OK Sweetheart, who also played a wonderful toe tapping set!
